Okay so I know it’s only October but this is probably one of the first years that I have started to get in the Christmas spirit early. The past couple weeks the temperature here in Michigan has changed from hot to cold frequently. When we get near freezing I make my kids a special cup of Hot Cocoa to enjoy when they get off the bus. There are plenty of recipes that are delicious but let me tell you, nothing is as good as the recipe my mother-in-law passed to me years ago. This woman is an amazing connoisseur of things that are delicious. I think a lot of this is because she grew up in the heart of Amish country. Over the past few years I have found that certain ingredients in this recipe matter and make it rich, creamy and oh so delicious that you’ll be craving it all winter long.
